Goals of LEAD:
- Engage high performers interested in leadership development
- Teach and learn best strategies for effective leadership at work, in the home and in our communities
- Create buy-in and establish a culture of constant growth and mentorship
Format:
- 1 hour meeting every other month
- Small and large group discussions about topics such as communication, teamwork and quality care
- Read and discuss leadership books
- Complete brief assignments for self-reflection
- Watch videos regarding effective leadership and empathy as healthcare providers
- Use virtual meeting space to share ideas across the country
